এই আর্টিকলটা পড়ার পর থেকে ভাবা নিয়ে ভাবছি। রোজ বেরোনোর আগে যখন ভাবি ‘গ্যাস বন্ধ করেছি তো?’ তখন কি এই চারটে শব্দ মাথায় আসে নাকি রান্নাঘরে গ্যাসের ছবিটা আর ছেঁড়া ছেঁড়া কয়েকটা শব্দ মিলেমিশে আসে?

মাইকেল রকেফেলার কে সেটাই জানতাম না। তাঁর কী হয়েছিল তো দূরের কথা। 

এটা জানতাম।

এটাও জানা কথা, তবে মনের আড়ালে ছিল। ঠিকই। প্রোডাক্টিভিটির রহস্য আসলে কী কী করলাম তা নয়। কী কী করলাম না, তাই। কারণ কিছু না করে বসে আছি এমন তো কখনওই ঘটে না। নানারকম আবোলতাবোল করে সময় খরচ করি। কাজেই টু ডু লিস্টের বদলে আমার নট-টু-ডু লিস্ট বানানো উচিত। যেমন, বিছানা ছাড়ার আগে ইন্টারনেটের মুখদর্শন না করা, কাজ শুরুর আগে ওয়ার্ম আপে দশ মিনিটের বেশি ব্যয় না করা ইত্যাদি।
